My heart is breaking as I read this sad news. Bill was a fellow fish ‘nerd’ that I always loved interacting with him. We would geek out together via letters and emails over the years. I was able to meet him once and had the good fortune to visit his amazing studio. Over the years he randomly sent me beautiful fish castings.. knowing I had a fondness for cool under-appreciated fish. I have several of his pieces here in my house and will always treasure them.
My heart goes out to his family and friends.
