William and I have been exchanging fish for firewood for a number of years now, during which time I have accumulated about 30 of his creations. A visit to Williams shop was like entering a miniature natural history museum full of specimens from starfish and oysters to exotic deep sea creatures one had never seen or heard of before, it’s curator a brilliant and eccentric genius with a vast knowledge and curiosity for his subjects. I will miss these visits immensely but will forever be reminded of Williams legacy by my own collection of his work proudly displayed in our home. Rest in peace my friend.
